Guild wars radio! -
A while ago, I listened to mXo radio (Matrix Online) and it was quite a handy thing, it was run by people who played the game and introduced a unique and fun angle to the genre.
A couple of months ago, a guild called Heroes of The Rose (HotR) created Hits On The Radio (HotR!) who have over 14,000 mp3's between the current DJ's its still very young, and they need DJ's all the time, visit www.gwradio.org and have a listen, take a look around and if you want to, sign up as a DJ!
Chat Channel Changes - Last week A-Net introduced to Guild Wars a much needed change to the chat channel system, a threat of "marking" accounts of people who spam Sales in the public chat system. Although some argue that the changes have killed the cities off in terms of chat and in some case amount of people visiting there, it is important to realise, that you can now engage in a conversation in Public Chat without the need to constanly scroll up and look at what someone typed, because of spam. For some, it allows people to discover that they can talk and have decent conversations with people, and for others it allows them to realise there are people who play this game outside of their guild!
